- brilliant concept spoilt by poor design.
The brilliant concept is those little spikes. You don't really notice them at first, they even feel quite erotic but after a few hours they work their way into your crown and become an itch you just can't scratch, ok, the design means that you can but afterwards you wish you hadn't. When your crown moves around within the sheath it feels like someone drawing nails across your most delicate area - brilliant, brilliant, brilliant as you just can't ignore it. What happens when you start to get an erection is almost indescribable but I'll give it a go! I've never had a dozen red hot needles inserted in my crown but I imagine this is what it would feel like - when you wake up at 5am you can't think of anything else, you can't relax and you can't believe that there won't be some blood involved! There isn't and after you take it off there are a few cone shaped indentitions (when you rub your crown it feels really weird!!) and a few hours later just a dozen tiny red marks.
I've now done 2 36 hour stints and am building up for a 60 hour stint. The bad news is that my wife now knows all she has to do is to apply the gentlest squeeze on my crown and I'll agree to anything she wants!
The poor design
a) There are only 17 spikes - not 25 or whatever as advertised a few more down the topline or around the shaft would make it even more interesting.
b) You can pullback and (with alot of lube) reinsert, but then again you can with all the compact designs I've tried.
c) The locking mechanism is a joke - you can ease the plastic strap/locking block off and be out of the whole thing in minutes. I've made a metal one out of a hoseclip and used a washer as a locking block. This is much better and cost less than a fiver from halfords but you do have to the the measurements right. I've got a steel cherry pitter and intend making a better one today using the lessons leant from making the first one. It's so frustrating as it would be so easy for the manufacturer to supply this.
d) The ring around the shaft is solid, this results in some fairly serious ball wrestling to get it on. If you're thinking of buying one of these I recommend buying 3 cock rings at 40mm, 45mm and 50mm just to see what's possible, I went for the 40mm on the basis that the smaller would be better in stopping pullback (and it is) but now I wear it 24/7 and just turn it around 180 degrees when it's not on in vengance. Actually it's quite comfortable doing it this way but do remember to rub some antiseptic cream around the inside of the collar or it can get quite sore and you can't always sort it out quickly as you may want to. Also the band is very wide - I'm sure it could be made thinner or even shaped slightly to make it hang better.
Just one last point, I've also got a Gattica and the Pico fits very nicely inside it, unfotrunately the locking band on the Gattica is slightly too small for it to all mesh up so I haven't worn this combo in vengance yet.
In conclusion it's the way to go so long as you can sort out the locking mechanism, it's as secure as a cb6000s, it's not totally discreet but neither is a cb6000s (a slightly unfair comment as my wife likes me to wear tight jeans) and it's got those wonderful little spikes.
- Excellent, well designed, relatively secure device
I have already tried a spiral metal device and a Bon4 - the birdlocked pico is far better than either of those.
The fit is perfect and it's very hard to pull out of - with the right ring size the fit is snug and the latex slightly grips your skin making pulling through difficult. It is possible to pull out, but without unlocking I can't see how you could get your penis back in to the device, so your transgression would be noted! And you'd have to walk around with the device half on, which would be uncomfortable. Of course it's a silicone device so you could cut it off, or cut the strap; but short of a more serious commitment to chastity (i.e. a piercing) it's enough to keep you honest, as like I said even if you could get out you couldn't get back in.
I didn't find the spikes quite as mind-blowing as the the other reviewer but there is no doubt that once you start to get aroused they are very uncomfortable, and serve as a deterrent to erection. I haven't worn it overnight so don't know how they would feel with 'morning wood'. When not aroused they don't dig in (to me at least) and I can wear the belt without discomfort.
The material and the 'v' shape of the ring makes it very comfortable to wear (I've worn it for a maximum of 8 hours, but have been jogging in it with no problems) and the design is much more discreet than the other devices I've tried. With some tight underwear I think it's basically undetectable.
A general tip for chastity devices - I struggled to get into the smallest ring for a while until I discovered the right technique. Pull the loose skin on your scrotum through the ring then squeeze one testicle at a time through to follow. With loose skin pulled through the balls will just 'pop' easily through in place. Once that's done you can squash your penis through the ring afterwards. This is a painless method that will allow you to use a smaller (and so more secure) ring.
does it cause discomfort to the wearer when erect ? I'm looking for a chasity device my wife can put on me that won't hurt my testicles when I'm erect would this work ? Or is there another device that you have that would best suite what I'm looking for
Well the spikes inside the cage would cause discomfort to the wearer when there's an erection. As with most chastity devices, they don't usually cause discomfort to the testicles. The testicles hang free outside the cage and the only discomfort would be from a cock ring too tight or too lose. The spiral stainless steel chastity device is quite good and it comes with three different cock rings for a perfect fit. Also the CB6000 is a great beginner chastity device as it comes with five different cock rings.
